Lexington police seek man in ATM robbery

A Lexington man is wanted on charges of robbery for an incident in which a victim was forced to withdraw cash from an automated teller machine.

Furman Martin, 31, Lexington, is a suspect in an incident at 3 a.m. Thursday in which a male victim reported he was forced to take money from his bank account using a convenience store ATM on Augusta Road, Lexington Police Lt. Carroll W. Bledsoe Jr. said.

Anyone with information on Martin’s whereabouts can leave a tip at Crime Stoppers, (888) CRIME-SC (274-6372).
