The city of Columbia began the Three Rivers Greenway nearly 15 years ago. Revenues from the penny sales tax would make a major dent in finishing the greenway, a priority for city voters. Mike Dawson is the founding director of the River Alliance which builds and maintains the two county riverfront system of trails.
