Rebecca Jacobson has been named executive director of the Family Shelter of Columbia, the only agency in the Midlands to provide emergency shelter services to homeless children and their families. Jacobson, who has worked in nonprofit programming and business administration for more than 20 years, most recently served as membership and development director for the Congaree Land Trust.
