SC Gov. Haley's schedule this week

Gov. Nikki Haley’s publicly announced schedule for the balance of this week, released Monday by her staff, is:

Today, 10:30 a.m. – Join the S.C. Pharmacy Association in recognizing “Pharmacists Month,” State House

Wednesday, 10 a.m. – Welcoming remarks to the Governor’s Higher Education Conference, South Carolina State Museum, Columbia

According to her staff, Gov. Haley’s schedule last week included:

9 – Economic-development calls or meetings, including a tour of the Caterpillar plant in Sumter

4 – Calls to other politicians, two each to fellow constitutional officers and other governors

3 – Media activities, a media availability in Sumter, a newspaper interview and a press conference with the Department of Social Services director Lillian Koller

2 each – Speeches, to the Sumter Rotary and the “Unite for Victory 2012” rally in Spartanburg; meetings about state agencies; and meetings with constituents

1 each – Meeting about state policy; ceremonial duty, joining with the Chiropractic Association to recognize Spinal Health Month; meeting at and tour of the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island; visit to the Volunteers in Medicine clinic at Hilton Head Island

Busiest day – Wednesday, with nine activities

Slowest day – Friday, with one activity
