Wednesday, 10 a.m. Welcoming remarks to the Governors Higher Education Conference, South Carolina State Museum, Columbia
According to her staff, Gov. Haleys schedule last week included:
9 Economic-development calls or meetings, including a tour of the Caterpillar plant in Sumter
4 Calls to other politicians, two each to fellow constitutional officers and other governors
3 Media activities, a media availability in Sumter, a newspaper interview and a press conference with the Department of Social Services director Lillian Koller
2 each Speeches, to the Sumter Rotary and the Unite for Victory 2012 rally in Spartanburg; meetings about state agencies; and meetings with constituents
1 each Meeting about state policy; ceremonial duty, joining with the Chiropractic Association to recognize Spinal Health Month; meeting at and tour of the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island; visit to the Volunteers in Medicine clinic at Hilton Head Island
