William A. Summers has been named the 2012 recipient of the Robert E. Wilson Award, presented by a Division of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Summers is a program manager in the Clean Energy Directorate at the Department of Energy’s Savannah River National Laboratory, where he was instrumental in establishing the hydrogen energy program. He also served as project manager for the development of the world’s first hydrogen hybrid-electric transit bus.
