A teen was attacked and robbed by several men Monday night after an argument, Richland County deputies said.

The teen and a friend were walking at North Pines Road and Penni Circle in northern Richland County when they were accosted by five or six men, deputies said. The two groups exchanged words, and the men attacked the teen.

After the attack, the men stole the teen’s iPhone and left. The teen was treated by EMS and released.
