Deputies are looking for a man who robbed a Zaxbys restaurant Wednesday.
The Sheriffs Department said just before 8 p.m., a man walked to the front counter of the restaurant at 1041 Sams Crossing Drive and pretended to place an order. Once the register opened, the suspect pulled out a handgun, reached in the drawer and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a black male, wearing dark pants, dark-colored hoodie with a white T-shirt underneath, and a hat with an unknown emblem on it. He left in an older unknown model black Honda, possibly a 2003, according to reports.
He could be connected to similar robberies at area businesses, the Sheriffs Department said Thursday.
