Richland and Lexington County election officials are offering special Saturday hours for absentee voting.

In Richland County, absentee voting will be offered today and Nov. 3. For the first time, voting will be off-site, hosted by Dreher High School at 3319 Millwood Ave. in Columbia.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days. No other voter services will be provided, just absentee voting, deputy director of elections Garry Baum said.

The Lexington County Registration and Election Commission will be open from 8-11 a.m. Nov. 3 for absentee voting. The office is in the Lexington County Auxiliary Administration Building, 605 West Main St., Suite 105, Lexington.

Voters should bring a driver’s license, identification card issued by the S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles or a voter registration card.

Richland County residents with voting questions can call (803) 576-2200 or (803) 576-2240, while Lexington County residents can call (803) 785-8361.
