RICHLAND COUNTY, SC — Richland County deputies are investigating a stabbing early Sunday morning in Northeast Richland.
Someone was stabbed in the upper body about 2:45 a.m. after an argument, sheriff's department spokesman Curtis Wilson said in a news release.
Deputies found the victim at a location on Fore Avenue, which has an Elgin mailing address and runs parallel to Clemson Road behind the Woodlands subdivision.
The sheriff's department did not say the gender or age of the victim, nor did it disclose whether the attack occurred at a home or business.
The victim first was taken to a nearby satellite of Providence Hospital and then transferred to Palmetto Health Richland hospital, Wilson said in the release.
