Brennen Elementary students in Kelly Bunch's fourth grade class learn about their rights and responsibilities by voting in a nationwide mock-election project sponsored by Studies Weekly. "I remember when I voted in elementary school," says Bunch. "I think it's an experience that they will always remember. I hope it sticks with them so that when they are old enough to vote, they make the decision to do so." Each student cast an electronic ballot via computer in their classrooms and were able to track "election results" throughout the day.
