KERSHAW COUNTY, SC — A 33-year-old Kershaw County man was sentenced to 16 years in prison after pleading guilty to molesting a 9-year-old girl in May 2011.
Danny Shawn Johnston II pleaded guilty to the charge of committing a lewd act on a minor, which is second-degree criminal sexual conduct.
He originally was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Johnston was sentenced by Circuit Court Judge Casey Manning in Kershaw County.
