W. Gordon Belser Arboretum: Monthly open house will be held 1-4 p.m. Nov. 18which is the second Sunday, 4080 Bloomwood Road. The arboretum is a collection of plant communities consisting of 10 different habitats, a waterfall, and a botanical garden. (803) 777-3934

Second Sunday Stroll: Neighborhood strolls provide a guided tour for many of the neighborhoods featured in Historic Columbia Foundation’s Retrace (Connecting Communities through History) brochures. Tours are 30-60 minutes in length. The neighborhood for the November stroll is Heathwood, 2 p.m. Nov. 11. Meet at Heathwood Park, 800 Abelia Road. Free for HCF members. Living Heuchera Wreaths: Create a one-of-a-kind wreath using a sphagnum wreath base and planting it with heuchera (Coral Bells), 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Riverbanks Botanical Garden, 500 Wildlife Parkway.
