Absentee voting , where and when in the Midlands

This Saturday, Richland and Lexington County election officials are offering special hours for absentee voting.

• In Richland County, absentee voting will be offered at Dreher High School at 3319 Millwood Ave., in Columbia. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• The Lexington County Registration and Election Commission will be open from 8-11 a.m., for absentee voting. The office is in the Lexington County Auxiliary Administration Building, 605 West Main St., Suite 105, Lexington.

Voters should bring a driver’s license, identification card issued by the S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles or a voter registration card.

Richland County residents with voting questions can call (803) 576-2200 or (803) 576-2240, while Lexington County residents can call (803) 785-8361.
