— A Columbia man is in jail for three armed robberies after Forest Acres police arrested him over the weekend.

Antonio Sadler, 29, was charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, said Forest Acres Police Lt. Bryant Hinson. The Columbia Police Department also had an arrest warrant for Sadler for armed robbery, unlawful carrying of a weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. Additionally, he is charged with two counts of probation violation by Richland County authorities.

Sadler is being held on bond totalling $70,000 at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

Sadler is accused of robbing the Taco Bell on Decker Boulevard at 5:30 p.m. Friday and a Subway restaurant at 2:15 p.m. Saturday on the 3800 block of Two Notch Road, Hinson said. In those cases, Sadler allegedly ordered food and took out money as if he would pay for it. When the cashiers opened their registers Sadler allegedly pulled out a gun and grabbed money from the register, Hinson said.

The Columbia Police Department has charged Sadler for allegedly robbing a Dollar General on Oct. 25 on West Beltline Boulevard.
