RICHLAND COUNTY, SC — Richland County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for an armed man in a black hoodie after a fight led to a shooting at an apartment complex Wednesday afternoon.

Two men were involved in a fight at the Hunters Green Apartments on North King’s Way off Alpine Road when one shot the other in the lower body, department spokesman Curtis Wilson said.

The victim was taken to Palmetto Health Richland hospital with what EMS responders believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, Wilson said.

The shooting suspect is at large. He is approximately 18 and was wearing a black hoodie.
