Columbia City Council: Tuesday at 9 a.m., council’s Public Safety Committee discusses police department staffing in Five Points. At 11 a.m., the Economic and Community Development Committee will discuss changes in the city’s business loan programs. Both meetings are in the conference room of the city parking garage across the street from police headquarters on Washington Street. The full City Council meets at 6 p.m. in the Eau Claire print building, at 3907 Ensor Ave. at Monticello Road.

Forest Acres City Council: Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. and a special meeting Wednesday at 5 p.m., both at Town Hall, 5205 North Trenholm Road.

Richland County Council: Tuesday at 4 p.m. is a meeting of the ad hoc committee on the regional sports complex, followed at 4:45 p.m. by the rules and appointments committee, 5 p.m. by the economic development committee and 6 p.m. the full council, all at the Richland County Administration Building, 2020 Hampton St. in Columbia.

Township Auditorium: Wednesday at 8 a.m., the board of directors meets at the Township, 1703 Taylor St.

Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority: Wednesday at noon, the board of directors meets at headquarters, 3613 Lucius Road.
