YOUTH
ANNIE HU has won $600 in the National Math Prize for Girls competition. Hu, a Lexington High School junior, was the only South Carolina student to qualify for the competition.
SETH EWING has been chosen as the Children’s Miracle Networks 2012 South Carolina Champion. Ewing, a Midway Elementary School student, serves as ambassador for the 17 million kids treated each year at the Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
JORDAN BURTON AND MAYA WALKER have won the Subway Fresh Start Challenge. Burton is a kindergarten student at Burton-Pack Elementary School, and Walker is a fifth grader at Webber Elementary School.
