The Army honored one of its chaplains and six chaplain assistants who died while serving their country during Friday's memorial wreath-laying at the Chaplain Corps Memorial at the U.S. Army Chaplain Center and School on Fort Jackson. The names of the seven have been added to the center's wall of remembrance, which lists more than 300 chaplains and chaplain assistants who gave their lives.The wall lists the names of the chaplains and chaplain assistants who perished in conflicts from the Revolutionary War to Afghanistan and Iraq.
