Columbias Jewish community is holding a solidarity rally for Israel at 5 p.m. today at the Katie and Irwin Kahn Jewish Community Center at 306 Flora Drive.
Those gathered will remember the Israeli civilians killed and wounded recently by Hamas missiles.
The event is hosted by Columbias three synagogues, Beth Shalom, Tree of Life and Chabad-Aleph House as well as the Columbia Jewish Federation and the Katie and Irwin Kahn center.
Speakers will include the Israel Special Emissary Ronnie Porat, Middle East scholars Dr. Josef Olmert and Dr. Michael Sharnoff and S.C. state lawmakers.
