Columbia, SC — Some will laugh at my words. Some will say I lack the intellect to understand or that I am just a right-wing nut. The truth is, I do not think the few years I have remaining will be greatly impacted by the election results.

However, I feel much sadness in the direction and philosophy the majority has adopted. The work of fear and smear coupled with enslaving so many with government dependence seems to have achieved desired results. While there may be a path to one day right the ship, it is beyond my limited vision.

Those who have children and stand with this majority are also beyond my understanding. What happens when the feds run out of other folks’ money to spend and the debt pulls the country under is a question for the young. I hope they have the opportunity and ability to overcome the mess we are leaving them.
