LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Devin Booker had 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead Clemson past Marist 59-44 on Sunday in a consolation game at the Old Spice Classic.

Adonis Filer scored 10 points and Milton Jennings, who made the all-tournament team, added nine for Clemson (4-1).

Marist (2-4) got 15 points from Devin Price.

Both teams had split their first two games in the tourney.

Clemson used a 12-0 run to go up 44-32. Damarcus Harrison had five points, including a 3-pointer, during the surge. A slam by Booker extended the Tigers’ lead to 48-34 with seven minutes to play.

Isaiah Morton had a 3-pointer and layup as Marist scored seven straight points to open the second half and take a 28-22 lead.

Marist shot 34 percent from the field. Clemson outrebounded the Red Foxes 40-26.

Behind eight points by K.J. McDaniels, Clemson led 22-21 at halftime.

The Tigers beat UTEP 69-48 and lost to No. 17 Gonzaga 57-49 at the tournament. Marist lost to West Virginia and beat Vanderbilt.

At Macon, Ga., Monty Brown led four Mercer scorers in double figures with 14 points as the Bears (3-3) beat Furman (2-3). Larry Wideman led the Paladins with 13 points.

GEORGIA TECH 65, ST. MARY’S 56

At Anaheim, Calif., Brandon Reed scored 19 points and Georgia Tech (4-1) made six 3-pointers in the second half to capture third in the DirecTV Classic.

BRYANT 56, BOSTON COLLEGE 54

At Boston, Dyami Starks scored all 17 of his points in the second half, including a tiebreaking driving basket with 1:44 to play, to lift Bryant to its first victory over an ACC team.

RHODE ISLAND 79, AUBURN 72 (2 OTs)

At Auburn, Ala., Rhode Island guard Xavier Munford scored 33 points to lead the Rams. Munford’s desperation 3 at the buzzer at the end of the first overtime kept the Rams alive. They outscored the Tigers 13-6 in the second overtime.
