Charles Krauthammer doesn’t get it. In his Nov. 11 column, “The way forward,” he says the only thing the Republican Party needs to do is to change its immigration policy regarding Hispanics. He goes on to say, “this doesn’t mean the country needs two pro-choice parties.”
When are men (pundits and politicians in either party) going to realize that women’s bodies are not theirs to control and legislate? This is not their conversation. Anything regarding women’s bodies should be between their physicians, their God (if they have one and choose to bring him or her into the equation) and themselves.
For the record, I am a native South Carolinian, 73 years old and in a stable, 46-year marriage.
