Columbia, SC — Now that Mitt Romney has lost his quest for the White House, would it be too much to ask of Gov. Nikki Haley for her to stay in South Carolina and at least act as the governor? There is no need for her to travel around the country promoting her personal agenda when there are serious issues to deal with here.
Since the world-class identity hacking/computer breach issue has happened on her watch, let’s see some proactive responses from her. As she is prone to claiming credit for much of what happens in this state regardless of her true involvement, it stands to reason that the hacking is be her responsibility as well.
She should be the governor. Pay attention to the people of the state and their concerns, accept the responsibility, and fix the problems. Her photo ops and re-election plans can wait. It is the ethical thing to do.
