Christmas in Cayce

It’s time for “Christmas in Cayce.” The city’s 35th annual tree lighting ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. at Cayce City Hall. Also, The Lights of Cayce will be turned on and displayed through Dec. 31. City hall is at 1800 12th Street, Cayce. Free; (803) 796-9020

Happy Festivus

The Five Points Association will host the fifth annual Airing of Grievances bar tour. Airing grievances is one of the joys of Festivus, the holiday celebrated by the Costanza family on “Seinfeld.” There are 10 stops on the grievance tour, which will be held from 6-10 p.m. Art Vandelay Awards will be given for the best grievances. Delaney’s will host “Seinfeld” trivia at 9:30 p.m., and Pawley’s Front Porch will have a themed photo booth. Holiday parade

The 59th annual Carolina Carillon Holiday Parade begins at 9:45 a.m. at Gervais and Bull streets. The theme is “A Fairy Tale Christmas.” The parade, which will be broadcast live on WIS-10, will move past the State House to the Vista. There will be nearly 100 entries of floats, marching bands and drill teams. There will also be live performances. The event begins with the Jingle All the Way 5K.
