Recycle electronics TODAY in Richland County

November 30, 2012 

Richland County is holding an electronics-recyling and document-shredding event from 9 a.m.-noon today at Zion Mill Creek Baptist, 97 Mill Creek Parkway.

Tires, computers, televisions, household electronics, microwave ovens, scrap metal and paper documents for shredding will be accepted from county residents only. Residents also will be able to “Make the Switch,” exchanging regular household bulbs for eight energy efficient Compact Fluorescent Bulbs. The limit is eight per person.

The county will not be collecting commercial materials, refrigerators or air conditioners.
