The water line has been repaired, the water tested and deemed OK to drink in an area of Springdale told to boil their water on Thursday. The city of West Columbia announced the lifting of the advisory Saturday.

A broken water line in West Columbia has prompted the city water system to issue a boil water alert for some residents near Interstate 26.
People living on Baywater Drive, Durham Drive, Lakewood Drive, Palo Verde Drive, Pine Croft Drive, Pompeii Place, and Swannanoa Drive - a neighborhood in SPringdale - should boil any water for at leasr 60 seconds before drinking it, using it to make ice or in other food preparation.
The advisory is in effect until further notice, the city of West Colubia said in a release.
