Monday: Voters should stop complaining

Published: December 3, 2012

— I recall several weeks ago long lines at a fast food restaurant to get a chicken sandwich. I don’t recall any letters to the editor complaining about such long lines. Lost time at work, wasted gasoline, who knows what else. Think about it folks: Which is more precious? A chicken sandwich or your vote? The Bible indicates that patience is a virtue; we are a Christian nation.

These folks who complained about long lines should prepare for the adventure of voting. Take a book, the newspaper (my goodness, there’s thinking outside the rain-soaked cardboard box), talk to your fellow voters. Give me a break.
