Richland County, SC — I think it is reprehensible that our director of elections initially had no better excuse other than to say the extremely long waits to vote in Richland County were due to higher than usual voter turnout. Really? Perhaps someone should school her in basic mathematics. Regardless of how many turn out to vote, the fewer the working voting machines, the longer the lines.

You mean to tell me she actually had more working voting machines, but didn’t put them in place? That director needs to go (home that is, or perhaps back to school).
