Columbia City Council: Tuesday at 2 p.m., a work session where council will discuss the future of two proposed special taxing districts for North Columbia and the Innovista as well as what to do about water and sewer rates that have triggered protests from some ratepayers. At 6 p.m., council holds its bi-monthly meeting, where the controversial taxing districts are scheduled for a final vote. Both meetings are to be held in the print building adjacent to the former Eau Claire town hall, 3907 Ensor Ave. at Monticello Road.
