COLUMBIA, SC — Seven men were displaced after a fire at an Olympia Avenue home Monday morning.
An overloaded surge protector set the two-story home on fire about 8:20 a.m., according to Columbia-Richland Fire Department spokesman Brick Lewis. The home sustained about $200,000 in damages and was destroyed.
