Lighting the State Christmas tree is a family affair. Mayor Stephen Benjamin is joined by his wife, Judge DeAndrea Gist, his daughters, Jordan Grace and Bethany while Governor Nikki Haley is joined by her husband Michael, daughter Rena and son Nalin. Rena Haley throws the switch that lit the tree. Governor Nikki Haley, First Gentleman Michael Haley and the First Family joined Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin at the 46th Annual Governor's Carolighting.
