MADD to hold candlelight service

December 4, 2012

Mothers Against Drunk Driving will hold a candlelight service at the S.C. Criminal Justice Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday “to support those affected by drunken driving crashes, and to express hope for a less violent future.”

Leroy Smith, director of the South Carolina Department of Public Safety, will be the keynote speaker. The event will take place in the academy’s gymnasium, located at 5400 Broad River Road.
