William R. Jennings has been named the University of South Carolina School of Medicine’s Distinguished Young Physician Alumni for 2012. Jennings serves as the chief medical information officer for the Palmetto Health Quality Collaborative; doctor of emergency medicine for Carolina Care, and assistant professor of clinical surgery for the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He is the immediate past president of the South Carolina College of Emergency Physicians.
