Friday: Graham, McCain should apologize

Published: December 7, 2012

Given the political posturing and "set for prime time TV" denunciation of U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice by Sens. Lindsey Graham and John McCain (only to be proven wrong by their idol, ex-CIA chief David Petraeus), it appears that public apologies are in order from both men.

If they refuse, then both should resign. They made a spectacle of themselves criticizing Ambassador Rice and ridiculing the president in the harshest terms, only to be shown that Ms. Rice and President Obama were right after all. The disrespect and belittling of both the president and the U.N. ambassador over the Benghazi tragedy by the two senators should be offset by their absence from the Senate chambers.
