Midlands Authority for Conventions, Sports & Tourism has been recognized for its service to meeting, event, convention planners and leisure travelers. Its Columbia Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau has been honored with the 2012 Successful Meetings Pinnacle Award, which celebrates excellence in hospitality. In addition, the bureau has been recognized as a 2012 ConventionSouth Reader’s Choice Award recipient for the fifth straight year.
