Mayor Steve Benjamin and the Columbia City Council presented the Columbia-Richland Communications Center with the 2012 South Carolina Emergency Communications Center of the Year award.

Kunal Kanitkar has been elected vice president of the Midlands for the Harvard Club of South Carolina.

Rebecca Schauer Robertson has been named a recipient of the Professional Excellence Award from Milligan College.

Dr. Jonathan O. Nwanagu, a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, has opened Sandhills OB/GYN.

Sarah Schumacher has joined Palmetto Health Physician Practice network.

KeenanSuggs has been named one of the 25 Fastest Growing Companies in South Carolina for 2012.

Erica G. Lybrand has joined Rogers, Townsend & Thomas. Her practice involves financial services litigation.

Attorneys Trippett Boineau , Andrew Delaney and Kelly Morrow have been elected new members to the Columbia firm of McAngus, Goudelock & Courie.

Molly Sims of RE/MAX Real Estate Consultants in Chapin has been recognized for her outstanding sales results for the first three quarters of 2012.
