— Lexington County deputies have arrested a man suspected of breaking into cars at an apartment complex outside Columbia.

Keenan Erskine Sullivan, 22, is charged with three counts of breaking into a motor vehicle. Sullivan is accused of breaking into three cars at an apartment complex on Berryhill Road early Monday morning, deputies said.

A resident at the complex saw a man resembling Sullivan rummaging through cars about 4:20 a.m. and called police, according to deputies. Officers found Sullivan inside a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu and arrested him at the scene. 1989 Nissan pickup truck and a 1998 Buick sedan in the same parking lot were also burglarized.

Deputies are asking anyone with information about Sullivan to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or www.sccrimestoppers.com.
