IRMO, SC — The owner of an Irmo motorcycle dealership has been charged Thursday with operating a business without a retail sales license.
John David Frye II is being held at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing. Frye’s retail license was revoked in September for failing to pay state sales tax, according to the Department of Revenue. The man, who owns Gotham City Cycles, is accused of continuing to operate his business without the license.
Frye, 45, faces up to 30 days in jail and a $200 fine if he’s convicted.
