A man connected to the robbery of the TD Bank on Garners Ferry Road in Columbia has been arrested.

Cedric Wiley Robinson was apprehended by members of the Richland County Sheriff’s Department’s fugitive task force at 10 p.m. Friday in Cayce, said department spokesman Chris Cowan.

Robinson robbed the bank near the I-77 interchange Nov. 30 and made off with an undisclosed amount of money, according to earlier reports. No one was injured in the robbery.

Robinson was charged with entering a bank with intent to steal. Cowan said that is a felony charge that could bring 30 years in prison.
