COLUMBIA, SC — Columbia police are investigating the robbery Monday of a TD Bank in the St. Andrews area.
A man left in a car with an undisclosed amount of money from the bank at 7330 Broad River Road, police said.
The robbery occurred about 9:30 a.m. when the suspect displayed a handgun at a teller and demanded money, police said.
The suspect is described as a black man wearing a black bandanna over his face and a short-sleeve orange t-shirt over a black outfit, police said.
The car he left in was possibly a small, older model, gray or silver 4-door sedan that may be missing one or more hubcaps, police said.
