COLUMBIA — With a chance of severe thunderstorms forecast, Riverbanks Zoo officials decided not to open the Lights Before Christmas display tonight.
A cold front moving through the area is expected to continue dumping rain on the region tonight, with a chance of severe thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.
Lights Before Christmas will reopen on Tuesday, according to the zoo.
