Undefeated Dreher rolled to yet another easy win Wednesday in the first round of the CresCom Bank Holiday Invitational tournament at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, downing Our Lady of Mercy 58-32.

The 9-0 Blue Devils jumped our to a 7-0 lead with Jazmine Robinson scoring five of her 13 points in the first four minutes of the game. Kaydra Duckett led Dreher with a double-double – posting game high totals in points (18) and rebounds (12). Robinson also contributed eight steals, two assists and four rebounds. Freshman Jhileiya Dunlap had 10 points, seven rebounds and three steals. Jordan Starr chipped in nine points and five boards off the bench.

Dreher dominated the glass, finishing with a 51-26 rebounding edge. The Blue Devils, in fact, had more offensive retrieves (28) and Our Lady of Mercy’s total carom haul.

De’jah Canty had just one point, but cleaned up on the boards with 11 rebounds.

Dreher plays Center Point (AL) in the second round at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
