UPDATE: Devine Street boil water advisory repealed

Published: December 20, 2012

The City of Columbia Water Works has repealed the boil water advisory for residents and businesses of Crossroads Commons on Devine Street that was issued Wednesday night.

PRIOR REPORTING:

A broken 8-inch water main has prompted the City of Columbia Water Works to issue a boil water advisory for residents and businesses of Crossroads Commons on Devine Street.

The area includes the Gamecock Bi Lo, Buffalo Wild Wings and Ruby Tuesday located near the intersection of Cross Hill Road and Devine Street.

Columbia water customers in the affected area are urged to boil any water used for drinking or food preparation for at least 1 full minute. Anyone living near the Crossroads Commons who has experienced a drop in water pressure or loss in water pressure should follow the same recommendation.
