Historic Columbia Foundation will have candlelight tours and carriage rides from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Guests will be able to take a guided tour of the Robert Mills House and Hampton-Preston Mansion by candlelight. Who says Christmas can’t be as haunting as Halloween? In the Dickens classic, “A Christmas Carol,” Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by ghosts as he learns the true meaning of Christmas. Christmas lessons might not be on “The Dark Cabaret’s” menu, but you’ll certainly be around summoned ghosts. The illusion-filled event is held at the home of Christian Thee, his house a shrine to his creative mind. The show begins at 8 p.m. The cabaret is offering a two-for-1 deal of $35. Historic Columbia Foundation will host a breakfast with a Victorian Santa from 8-11 a.m. A continental breakfast will be served in the Carriage House while seasonal music is played.
