Columbia — Why are we letting the so-called 2 percenters hold the country hostage? It is the people and the people’s money that pay for everything and get everything done.

When the unstoppable force meets the immovable object, something has got to give. Step aside. Remove the 2 percent from the equation.

Who built and paid for this great country? The people. And at a precious cost.

However, the 2 percent should pay more taxes. They would not miss the money.
