Update: Boil-water alert for Two Notch Road repealed

jmonk@thestate.comDecember 23, 2012

— The City of Columbia repealed a boil water alert issued Sunday for water customers on Two Notch Road between Beltline Boulevard and Farrell Drive and surrounding areas.

Following the Christmas Day repeal, residents no longer must boil water to purify it from any potential bacterial contamination.

The advisory was issued after an 8-inch water main broke near Farrell Drive and Two Notch Road.
