Published: January 1, 2013

COLUMBIA, SC Richland County deputies are looking for a man who stabbed three people who were trying to pull him off a fourth person during a New Year's Day argument at a mobile home park in Northeast Richland.

The condition of the three victims, stabbed with a knife in the upper body, was unclear at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sheriff's Department spokesman Curtis Wilson said.

The initial victim just was slapped in the face during a 3 a.m. fight at 2928 Alpine Road, Wilson said. The other three, who were stabbed, came to that person's rescue, he said.

No additional information was released about the victims, how the suspect got away or what triggered the initial confrontation.
