Police still looking for Irmo bank robber

Published: January 2, 2013

Police in Irmo are still looking for a man who robbed a bank there late last summer.

The man went into the AllSouth Credit Union in the 4700 block of Woodrow Street Aug. 16, pulled out a gun and demanded money from tellers, according to a Crime Stoppers press release.

After taking cash, he ran out of the bank toward Thames Valley Road where investigators think he had a car waiting. There were no customers in the bank at the time of the robbery.

The robber was caught on surveillance footage at the bank. If you recognize him or know anything about the incident, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or www.sccrimestoppers.com.
