“[TITLE OF SHOW]” returns to Trustus Theatre’s main stage after a holiday break. The musical comedy took its name from a space on a theater application form. The production, according to press notes, is “both a satirical send up of musical theatre, and an inspirational show that encourages us all to find our artistic voice and be true to it.” Dewey Scott-Wiley, the theater’s artistic director, will direct the show. The musical, which stars Kevin Bush, Matthew DeGuire, Robin Gottlieb and Laurel Posey, is about two struggling writers who scramble to meet a submission deadline for a musical theater festival. If you haven’t gone ice skating at Boyd Plaza yet, you have three more days to lace up your skates. The City of Columbia’s 50- by 63-foot synthetic rink in front of the Columbia Museum of Art closes Sunday. The rink hours: 11 a.m.-10 tonight and Saturday and 1-9 p.m. Sunday. Carolina Cage One Fights will put on an MMA card at 7:30 p.m. at Township Auditorium. MMA is mixed martial arts. The main event is Tim “The Terror” Goodwin against Matt Tran in a 135-pound bout. “Mark Rothko: The Decisive Decade 1940-1950” is on view at the Columbia Museum of Art through Sunday. The 37 works, including paintings, watercolors, drawings and prints, were chiefly culled from the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Art in Washington. It’s the first Sunday of the month, which means admission to the South Carolina State Museum is only $1. The museum is at 301 Gervais St.; www.southcarolinastatemuseum.org

“Anxious Visions: The Art of Michael Northius” opens in Gallery 15 at the Columbia Museum of Art. The exhibition will feature Northius’ paintings and drawings, artwork that “initially shocks, amuses or pleases.” The museum is at Main and Hampton streets. $5-$10; www.columbiamuseum.org
