Guns save lives. The proposals by ignorant people such as letter writer Linda Oliver (“Saving lives trump gun rights”) and Diane Feinstein, Charles Schumer and others in the government will actually cost lives in the long run.

Gun laws will keep guns out of the hands of the good guys and in the hands of the bad guys. Bad guys don’t pay attention to gun laws or any other laws.

Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and others have Secret Service or other people with guns protecting them. I cannot afford armed bodyguards for my family, so I need to be able to protect them myself.
